Closing Statement

A letter from Razer,

I have a big announcement that may bother a lot of you.  I am indefinitely putting the mic down.  There are a lot of reasons why I can’t continue to run the Detroit underground rap scene and maybe one day I might get into the details, but for now all I have to say is goodbye.  I need to walk away for awhile for a variety of reasons, one of which is so I can focus on my personal life.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me over the years, it was a great run.  I can’t say whether or not this premature retirement is forever but I can tell you this, IF I ever decide to return it will be on a whole other level.  Trust me, if you ever hear Razer again, he won’t be the same man you heard before.  People are already telling me they can hear a distinctive new direction and sound in my last two recorded tracks, and they are right.  Speaking of which, let’s call this a parting gift.  I’m giving away my last two joints for free.

Thank you to all the fans that came out to shows, bought the album and supported me throughout the years.  Much love goes out to the Detroit Hip Hop scene whose influence will forever be engrained in all the music I write, no matter how much my style evolves.

Sincerely,

Razer
